Overview
This summer, NVC Security are providing security and stewarding to a range of events across the Midlands and the rest of the UK. We are looking to recruit a team of friendly and enthusiastic event security staff, who enjoy working in a team to keep the public safe and secure. Our events this summer include a variety of music festivals, sporting events, and more. We have a jam-packed schedule from approx. May to September, so whether you are looking for full time work, or the opportunity to top up your wages and experience some great events at the weekends, there will be something for everyone!

What The Role Will Include
Specific duties will vary depending on the requirements of individual events, however as a general guideline, your duties will include:
- Monitoring entry points and site perimeter patrolling.
- Vehicle based rapid response.
- Access control – ticket and accreditation checks, guest direction and queries.
- Crowd control – traffic direction, maintaining order, reporting anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are followed.
- Delivering customer service and support to guests.
- Reporting any suspicious behaviour.
- Directing customers around the site.
What We Are Looking For
- Successful candidates must have an SIA licence in Door Supervision or Close Protection.
- Excellent customer service skills, you should be confident with speaking to members of the public and comfortable with helping patrons and making them feel safe and secure.
- A smart appearance with good personal presentation.
- The ability to take charge, make decisions and handle difficult situations with maturity.
- Comfortable with working long hours.
- Checkable work history for the previous five years in accordance with BS7858.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Able to work effectively in teams and develop strong team loyalty.
- Good observational skills and ability to take initiative to act individually or collaboratively as needed.
- Willingness to work away from home for several days, sometimes camping.
- Ideally, you will have at least three years’ experience in a security role, however this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidates.
