Job Overview We are a Derby based security company with over 30 years combined experience in the industry. We are looking for hard-working and experienced SIA licenced security officers to join our pool for ad-hoc security work around the East Midlands. We have work ranging from static sites, gatehouse, patrols, to events work and festivals. You should have a customer-focused approach, a positive attitude towards work and should be able to work as part of a team with other officers. The ability to build a strong relationship with our clients' staff and members of the public is also important. A key requirement for working at NVC is your ability to work effectively in teams and develop strong team loyalty. Qualifications
- Applicants must hold an SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
- At least 3 years experience in a security role is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
- A flexible approach to work is preferred as you will be required to work some weekends.
- Basic knowledge of using a smartphone / tablet preferred.
- Access to own vehicle required due to the locations of the jobs.
- Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.
- Must also be able to use own initiative and work independently.
- You’ll need a checkable work or education history for the previous five years, and you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
