Warehouse Operations Team Leader in Birmingham

NVC Lighting collaborates with leading controls manufacturers to deliver wireless lighting systems, emergency lighting test support, and technical assistance. The team also provides lighting design services to ensure high-performance, cost-effective, and innovative solutions that help projects succeed.

The Opportunity Working alongside our Warehouse Manager, you'll lead, coach and support our warehouse team while helping us deliver outstanding customer service, inventory accuracy and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time on the warehouse floor, solving problems, developing people and improving processes.

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support perpetual inventory and cycle counting.
• Use NetSuite WMS to manage warehouse activities.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Purchasing, QA and Production.
• Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.
