We’re supporting a well-established accounting firm in hiring a Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing team. What you’ll be doing:
- Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
- Processing accounts using Xero and/or Excel
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing accurate and insightful management reports
- Liaising directly with clients to support their financial needs
- Communicating with HMRC, Companies House, and partner accountants as required
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping/accounts processing experience, ideally in a multi-client environment
- Proficiency with Xero (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
