We’re working with one of the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy firms to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant for its Hereford office.

The Role
You’ll work with a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, helping deliver high-quality accounting and tax services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for a diverse client base.
- Assisting with personal tax, corporation tax and VAT returns.
- Building relationships with clients, gathering financial information and resolving queries.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing financial information for accuracy.
- Supporting senior accountants with client projects and advisory work.
- Using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Around 2–3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice or similar environment.
- AAT qualified or actively studying towards an equivalent qualification.
- Experience preparing accounts and assisting with tax compliance.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with clients.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
