We are hiring a Data Scientist for a specialist AI and machine learning company that takes research-grade models into production for international clients in the UK, Europe and the US.

This is a hands-on role. You will design, build and deploy ML solutions end to end β€” from exploration and experimentation through to models that are actually used.

The role

  • Design and develop CV, ML and AI models (predictive, classification, recommendation and LLM-based)
  • Select and optimise algorithms, including regression, tree-based methods and neural networks
  • Integrate models into production environments, cloud or on-premise
  • Clean data, engineer features and validate models
  • Work with clients and internal teams to turn analysis into decisions
  • What you will need
  • 3+ years in data analysis, computer vision, machine learning or statistical modelling
  • Practical experience deploying ML models
  • Strong Python (Num Py, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, plus Py Torch or Tensor Flow)
  • Solid statistics and data preparation
  • SQL and Git
  • Comfortable working on Windows or Linux
  • Fluent English for international collaboration
  • Useful, not essential
  • LLMs or time series
  • Computer Vision
  • Docker, MLflow, Airflow
  • AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Research / R&D background
  • Experience in cross-functional or international teams
  • What they offer
  • Production AI work with real operational impact
  • International client exposure
  • Hybrid working β€” two days a week in the Manchester office
  • Salary up to Β£65,000
  • A practical, engineering-led culture

If you enjoy owning models beyond the notebook and want them used in live systems, apply with your CV or send a short note on relevant deployment work.
