The Senior Building Services Engineer defines and distributes the scope of work to ensure that the project is executed safely, on time and at appropriate levels of quality. The Senior Building Services Engineer is responsible for the delivery of design and engineering to meet the requirements of the technical specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality and timely delivery of design documentation throughout all phases of the design process.
- Management of contractors.
- Provide support during site surveys, installation and commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a relevant technical/engineering discipline or demonstrable experience.
- Working towards, or already have, Chartership in a discipline-specific engineering institution.
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals within your engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in the design of Building Services (including Ventilation & Piped Services).
- Good level of commercial awareness.
- Full membership of a discipline-specific engineering institution and CEng status.
- Knowledge of design software capability and outputs.
- Experience of design and engineering substantiation.
- Construction site experience.
- Experience of working in the Nuclear industry or other highly regulated industry.
