NUVIA’s Technical Services & Consulting (TS&C) team is one of our growing business units. Our primary focus is recruiting for specialist expertise, technical innovation and strategic support across the Nuclear and Defence sectors. Due to continued growth and success, we are actively recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join the team.
The successful candidate will work alongside both the recruitment team and the TS&C management team and will be responsible for identifying, attracting and assessing qualified candidates for a variety of positions across the departments array of nuclear and defence clients across the UK. Reports to: Recruitment Business Partner
Key Accountabilities:
- Source and build talent pipelines, proactive searches for future requirements and identifying skill gaps.
- Conducting initial pre-registration phone calls & maintaining regular communication with candidates.
- Build strong relationships, working alongside internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the wider HR team in the delivery of an excellent on-boarding experience for new starters.
- Support candidates through the security clearance process, both internally and externally.
- Leading and arranging interviews, SQEP calls and assisting with workforce planning.
- Assisting with the account management of a multi-million-pound framework, attending qualifying calls with Hiring Managers and Technical Leads.
- Advertising and managing vacancies.
- Helping to create recruitment campaigns internally and externally.
- Contribute to reports internally and externally.
- Cover workload in absence of Recruitment Business Partner.
- Occasional visits to other NUVIA offices or client sites.
Occupational Skills and Knowledge:
- A proven background in Recruitment within a highly regulated market.
- Experience recruiting for nuclear or defence would be beneficial but not essential.
- Eligible to obtain security clearance and work on UK eyes only projects.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised, independent worker with a strong ability to prioritise.
- Exceptional understanding of deadlines and turnaround times in a faced paced environment.
