Job Purpose / Overview
The Plant Facing Design Office (PFDO) has a requirement for a small team to provide support to MSSS to manage the development of tools to support early retrievals/early operations of the MSSS SEP Machines.
Role Description
The Mechanical Ventilation Engineer will work closely with the multidisciplinary design team and plant-based team. Involved in the production of detail drawings, sub-assemblies, GA, layout drawings, flow diagrams and parts lists. Responsible for the production/compilation of technical documentation (technical specifications, RA's, installation methodology documents, O&M manuals etc). Experience of working within a highly regulated industry, preferably within the nuclear industry. Good understanding of the requirements associated with delivering ventilation designs in the nuclear sector. Experience in production of technical files. Competent report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings. Liaison with key stakeholders and other design disciplines. Production and checking of ventilation engineering calculations & deliverables. Effective communication with team members and with the client.
