Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship

Location: West Burton

Duration: Typically 24 months

What you will learn and do

As an apprentice, you will develop core project management skills, including:

  • Supporting the planning, monitoring and reporting of engineering and construction projects
  • Working with engineers, designers, contractors and clients
  • Managing risks, actions and project information
  • Understanding quality, health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Building communication, organisation and leadership capability

Your learning will be aligned to the Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship standard and delivered alongside your role at ILIOS. Subject to performance and business need, there will be the opportunity to progress to the Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Project Management, supporting longer‑term professional development within ILIOS.

What we are looking for

We are looking for people who are motivated, curious and keen to learn. You do not need prior project management experience.

  • An interest in construction, engineering or major infrastructure projects
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Entry Requirement

  • GCSEs: Grade 5-9 (A*-C) in Maths, English, and Science
  • A-Levels: Minimum 3 A-Levels (A*-C), or equivalent qualifications
  • Must be eligible for security and medical clearance
