Working closely with senior programme leads, delivery teams, and external stakeholders, the Programme Manager will act as a central interface, coordinating engagement, forward planning, and governance across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment with wider objectives and strategic priorities. This is a programme‑level role, not a single‑project delivery position, and will suit someone comfortable operating across large, regulated, stakeholder‑heavy environments.
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with major infrastructure and transformation programmes to establish and maintain robust governance and reporting arrangements.
- Act as the central interface between infrastructure programmes, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring the right SMEs are engaged at the right time.
- Support the development and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies, improving collaboration, clarity, and alignment across infrastructure activities.
- Create and maintain stakeholder maps and forward engagement plans covering meetings, boards, workshops, site visits, and formal reviews.
- Coordinate forward planning of activities requiring stakeholder or SME input, ensuring timely engagement and informed decision‑making.
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership forums on engagement activity, outcomes, risks, and opportunities.
- Embed efficient and effective communication mechanisms across programme and stakeholder communities.
- Ensure alignment between infrastructure activities and wider strategic objectives, contributing to investment prioritisation and assurance processes.
