This role ensures that accurate, up to date information is accessible to project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

The Document Controller maintains compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations.

ILIOS, a consortium led by a Kier–NUVIA joint venture alongside AECOM, architects AL_A and Turner & Townsend, has been appointed by UK Fusion Energy as their Construction Partner for the pioneering STEP Fusion programme.

The initial phase, to be delivered over the next three years, is supported by £200m of Government funding.

This flagship initiative, sponsored by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, is focused on designing and constructing a world‑leading prototype fusion power plant at West Burton, Nottinghamshire targeting 2040, with the ambition of delivering a commercially viable pathway for industry.

As part of a wider programme with budget forecasts running up to a multi‑billion‑pound investment, ILIOS will bring together industry‑leading expertise across major infrastructure, nuclear engineering, complex scientific facilities, programme and cost management, and innovative design.
