Job Purpose / Overview

The Plant Facing Design Office (PFDO) have a requirement for a small team to provide support to MSSS to manage the development of tools to support early retrievals/early operations of the MSSS SEP Machines.

Role Description

The EC&I Engineer is responsible for delivering electrical, control and instrumentation engineering outputs within their assigned scope of work. The EC&I Engineer develops and checks engineering deliverables in line with defined requirements, applicable standards and engineering procedures, under appropriate technical direction. The role contributes to multi-disciplinary engineering activities, supports engineering reviews and assurance processes, and ensures engineering outputs are fit for purpose, safe and compliant.

  • Experience delivering EC&I engineering outputs within an engineering or project environment.
  • Experience developing engineering deliverables in accordance with defined requirements, specifications and procedures.
  • Experience applying relevant engineering standards, codes of practice and design guidance.
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • Experience identifying and recording engineering assumptions, constraints and risks.
  • Experience supporting engineering reviews, checking and verification activities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and compliance in engineering delivery.

Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline. Relevant EC&I engineering experience appropriate to the level of responsibility. Ability to meet role-specific security clearance and site access requirements.
