Business Continuity Coordinator
Location: Birchwood, Warrington, United Kingdom
Employment Type: Permanent Hybrid
Salary: £35,000 per annum
The role is to ensure Business Continuity policies and documentation are in place, communicated and accessible to NUVIA employees.
Responsibilities
- Plan and assist the Head of Security in creating and executing board level Crisis Management & Business Continuity exercises and communicating/delivering outcomes from these events.
- Ensure Heads of Locations have their specific Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) policies and procedures in place and up to date.
- Support Business Lines (BL) and project teams for business wide BCMS activities, inclusive of ensuring BL asset registers are up to date. Maintain the NUVIA Security Dept. physical and information asset registers.
- Assist the Head of Security in reducing the risk profile of business assets (people, physical and information), reducing the impact of any crisis or BCMS situation.
Duties To Include
- Support the management of the BCMS.
- Carry out internal audits for BCMS related matters.
- Signpost to BCMS policy and procedure.
- Assist in reducing business risk.
- Ensure Project Managers asset registers are updated.
- Review information containers for accumulation and aggregation risks.
- Review information containers against retention policy.
- Support the Head of Security in security business as usual matters.
Requirements
- To be able to work with UK Classified information.
- Must be eligible for SC clearance.
- BCMS and Information Security experience.
Desirable
- Awareness of HMG/MOD/Civil Nuclear security regulations.
