Position – Lead / Senior Technical Engineer
Location – Hinton House, Warrington
Travel – 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
Arrangement – Contract / Staff

Background
- Engineering Discipline - Maybe a science-based discipline with the right experience
- Chartered in their discipline
- Experience in the Nuclear Industry, preferable with Sellafield
- Experience (minimum 2 of the points below):
- Technical Assessment review
- Study Delivery
- Strategy Development
- Technology Development / R&D
- Plant Trials
- Early design delivery (Study and Concept phases)
Role
- Support to the Technical team responsible for managing the leak within MSSS Original Buildings
- Lead packages of work. Expect the candidate to work autonomously with limited support and direction (once up to speed)
- Candidate will perform work themselves. There is potential for support to be provided ad-hoc but no additional resources can be made available to support full time
- The role is expected to cover:
- Scoping and specification of technical work
- Leadership of specific work packages (could be internally or externally delivered)
- NFR / report production and presentation
- Checking and review of other team member’s work
- Planning of future scope (e.g. transition from technical to design / projects)
- Regulatory engagement on allocated work packages
