Your mission: The Executive Search Lead is a hands-on, specialised recruiter responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring senior executives across Nuvei's global functions. This is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of executive-level searches, partnering directly with C-suite and senior leadership. You will act as the internal search expert - crafting search strategies, mapping markets, running outreach, engaging passive talent, driving assessment processes, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering world-class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Search & Hiring: Lead end-to-end executive recruitment for SVP and C-suite roles across global locations. Build and execute tailored search strategies, talent maps, and sourcing plans for each leadership role. Identify, engage, and nurture high-calibre passive talent from global fintech, payments, SaaS, and technology markets. Directly source candidates through research, targeted outreach, networking, and market intelligence.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with the TA Senior Director and C-suite to understand business needs and role requirements. Advise senior leaders on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring best practices. Run regular search updates and align on hiring timelines, shortlists, and decision-making processes.
- Candidate Assessment & Experience: Conduct deep-dive executive interviews, competency assessments, and structured evaluations. Manage senior candidates through a smooth, high-touch experience while safeguarding Nuvei's brand. Coordinate interview panels, ensure structured assessments, and calibrate with hiring leaders.
- Market Intelligence & Talent Strategy: Build detailed market maps for critical executive talent segments across global regions. Advise the business on succession planning pipelines and long-term leadership talent pools. Provide insights on competitor landscape, executive movement, and industry hiring trends.
- Process Excellence: Create a consistent and confidential approach to executive search within Nuvei, including playbooks and frameworks. Support continuous improvement in TA processes, DEI hiring practices, and assessment methodologies. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in TA systems.
Requirements
- 3-6+ years of experience in executive search, senior recruitment, or leadership hiring - either in-house or agency/search firm.
- Experience hiring for technology, fintech, SaaS or high-growth global environments preferred.
- Proven ability to run complex, confidential, senior-level searches with minimal guidance.
- Strong research and market mapping skills.
- Exceptional sourcing capability and comfort engaging passive executive talent.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders or C-suite stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, advisory, and relationship-building skills.
