We are seeking a commercially minded person to join our newly established account management team. In this role you will have responsibility for dealing with renewals, upsells and cross sells with our existing client base. This role is a great opportunity for someone in sales looking for a steady flow of renewal opportunities each month. These represent uncapped earning potential through upsells, price optimizations, and expansion. This is a high-impact, revenue-driving position where you’ll manage a significant book of business and play a key role in driving net revenue retention.
Main Responsibilities
- Own the renewals process for an assigned book of business, ensuring a high retention rate and maximising expansion opportunities.
- Negotiate contract renewals directly with customers, handling pricing discussions, upsell offers, and any necessary escalations.
- Leverage pricing discretion to apply price increases where possible and drive additional revenue growth.
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities, working closely with Customer Success and Sales teams.
- Forecast and track renewal performance, ensuring transparency in renewal revenue, churn risks, and growth opportunities.
- Optimise the renewals playbook, refining outreach strategies, negotiation tactics, and pricing models.
- Work closely with the finance function to understand current processes and drive the business forward by updating and optimising those processes in collaboration with the finance and commercial teams.
