Your Role at Nutrient The Head of Developer Relations will be responsible for shaping the developer experience at Nutrient and serving as a key advocate in the developer community. This role blends product education, evangelism, and communityâbuilding to ensure developers are aware of Nutrient products and their capabilities, can easily find the information they need to be successful with them, and actively engage with us and the rest of our community. As a primary visible technical voice for Nutrient, you will help promote our solutions across online communities, collaborate closely with product and engineering, and build a thriving community of technical users.
What You Will Work On
- Evangelism & Content Leadership
- Serve as a publicâfacing advocate for Nutrient across developer forums, online communities, and social platforms.
- Create original technical contentâblogs, demos, tutorials, videos, and thought leadership pieces.
- Speak at virtual and inâperson events, webinars, industry conferences, and meetups.
- Build relationships with influencers, integration partners, and industry leaders.
- Community Building
- Launch and grow a vibrant developer community, including user groups, community calls, and discussion forums.
- Organize and host developer events such as office hours, workshops, and handsâon sessions.
- Develop programs that activate and reward community participation (e.g., ambassador programs, early access groups).
- Monitor community health metrics and incorporate feedback into product and documentation improvements.
- Developer Experience & Documentation
- Partner with engineering and documentation teams to develop the strategy, structure, and execution process to create high quality developer documentation.
- Partner with engineering and documentation teams to write clear, comprehensive, and userâfriendly technical docs, tutorials, SDK guides, and API references.
- Partner with engineering, documentation, product, and design to ensure all technical content stays accurate, discoverable, and aligned with product releases.
- Review and improve developer workflows across our site, documentation portals, and onboarding experiences.
- Conduct user testing to continuously refine clarity, usability, and technical depth in documentation.
What You Will Bring
- 7+ years of experience in developer relations, developer education, technical writing, or similar roles.
- Strong and diverse technical background with proficiency with SDKs, APIs, backend and frontend languages, or developer tooling.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience engaging and growing communities across Slack, Discord, Reddit, GitHub, Stack Overflow, or other developerâcentric platforms.
- Comfortable speaking publicly, hosting events, and representing a brand to technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate crossâfunctionally with engineering, product, design, and marketing teams.
- A passion for helping developers succeed and a deep empathy for developer workflows.
- Demonstrated track record of creating highâquality developer documentation.
