We’re currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Agronomist to join our team.
Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, you’ll work closely with an established client base across Tamworth and surrounding areas, providing expert pasture agronomy advice alongside product solutions both in‑store and on‑farm.
What You'll Do:
- Provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers, delivering tailored advice and solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients, while identifying opportunities to grow your portfolio
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business goals to support improved performance and sustainability
- Share technical, seasonal and market insights to add value across the farming cycle
- Stay up to date with the latest plant production practices
- Coordinate and participate in field days and farmer meetings, positioning yourself as a trusted local expert in pasture agronomy
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in sales activity and call‑cycle management
- Sound customer service, organisational and administrative skills
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science (or a related discipline)
- Experience advising on agricultural chemicals and fertiliser
- A current Australian driver’s licence
