Job Description: Nutreco is a global leader in Animal Nutrition and Aquaculture, employing more than 11,000 people in 35 countries. Trouw Nutrition GB, a Nutreco company in the UK, manufactures a wide range of animal nutrition products with a turnover of approximately £100 million. The Technical team is seeking a Digital & Sustainability Lead to support sustainability and digital initiatives internally, liaise with global and ECA teams to implement strategies in the GB marketplace, assist with technical projects, and engage with customers alongside technical and commercial teams to provide platform support for the ruminant portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the digital and sustainability strategy for the GB market in collaboration with the technical team.
- Provide technical support to internal colleagues, including product advice, creation, and amendments, as well as project development.
- Assist the formulations team with technical checks, specification creation, training, customer specifications, and nutritional support.
- Specialize in sustainability within the ruminant sector.
- Contribute to the development of local and global technical innovations, products, and solutions for the GB market.
- Support internal procedures such as trials, laboratory data review, formulation management, campaign development, and nutritional training.
- Stay updated on sustainability legislation and communicate relevant updates to technical and sales teams.
- Review latest research from scientific journals and present findings to the technical team.
- Support customer-specific sustainability and digital projects.
- Enhance the digital service offering, including managing invoicing, platform development, stakeholder engagement, and driving the TNGB digital strategy alongside the technical team.
Qualifications:
Degree in Animal Nutrition or similar, or experience in the ruminant nutrition sector with an understanding of the farming industry. Knowledge of sustainability in farming systems and agriculture is essential, along with confidence in presenting to stakeholders.
