In this role, you will support the planning function by ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, maintaining accurate system data, and helping to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain and planning while contributing to operational continuity and efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Support planning and supply activities to ensure materials availability and smooth operations.
- Manage purchase orders and supplier communication.
- Monitor supplier lead times and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (MRP).
- Support inventory management and stock optimisation.
- Identify and resolve supply or stock issues.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or similar roles is a plus.
- Open to junior profiles with strong interest in planning.
- Good Excel and system skills (ERP experience is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills and team collaboration.
Location & Details
- Location: Ashbourne, UK.
- Work model: On-site.
- Contract: 12–18 months (maternity cover).
