In this role, you will support the planning function by ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, maintaining accurate system data, and helping to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain and planning while contributing to operational continuity and efficiency.
What you’ll do- Support planning and supply activities to ensure materials availability and smooth operations
- Manage purchase orders and supplier communication
- Monitor supplier lead times and follow up on deliveries
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (MRP)
- Support inventory management and stock optimisation
- Identify and resolve supply or stock issues
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment
- Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or similar roles is a plus
- Open to junior profiles with strong interest in planning
- Good Excel and system skills (ERP experience is an advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills and team collaboration
- Location: Ashbourne, UK
- Work model: On-site
- Contract: 12–18 months (maternity cover)
- 25 days of holiday per calendar year based on full-time working hours, plus 8 UK bank holidays
