At Trouw Nutrition GB, a Nutreco company, we are global leaders in animal nutrition, driven by our shared purpose of Feeding the Future. Innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact are at the heart of everything we do, and this role sits right at the centre of it.

As Executive Assistant to the Country Manager UK & Ireland, you will be a trusted partner and organisational anchor for the leadership team. This is not a conventional diary-management role. You will coordinate and lead key leadership forums, drive follow-up and accountability across the organisation, shape internal communications, and support meaningful business initiatives, all with a high degree of autonomy and visibility.

If you are a confident, structured, and proactive professional who thrives on ownership and responsibility, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact in this role.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Country Manager’s diary, priorities, and meeting cadence (ensuring focus on what matters most)
  • Lead leadership meetings end-to-end: agenda setting, coordination, action tracking, and proactive follow-up to ensure delivery
  • Track and follow up on agreed actions, driving accountability across stakeholders
  • Drive and coordinate internal communications on behalf of the leadership team, from updates and newsletters to engagement messages
  • Confidently facilitate meetings and discussions when required
  • Translate ideas and briefs into clear, high-quality PowerPoint presentations and leadership materials
  • Support and lead selected projects, turning priorities into structured plans and tracking progress
  • Coordinate internal events, workshops, and engagement initiatives that bring teams together

You will work with a high level of autonomy. The expectation is that you take ownership: anticipating needs, acting proactively, and following through to completion.

Who we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior leader (e.g. Country Manager, Managing Director, or equivalent)
  • Experience in medium to large, fast-paced organisations, ideally within a matrix or multinational environment
  • Strong experience coordinating senior leadership meetings, including agenda preparation, action tracking, and follow-up
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear and professional presentations independently
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel; Planner is an advantage)
  • Key soft skills include strong organisation and prioritisation in a dynamic environment, the ability to build effective relationships across teams and levels, a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information, and a confident, structured, and self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and challenge constructively

Location & Details

  • Location: Ashbourne, UK
  • Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time

What you’ll receive

  • 25 days of holiday per year (full-time basis), plus 8 UK bank holidays
  • Hybrid working model with flexibility
  • Opportunity to grow within a global organisation
