In this role, you will support indirect procurement activities by managing supplier relationships, supporting sourcing initiatives, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing of services and equipment. Acting as a key link between local stakeholders and central procurement teams, you will help drive alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement. What you’ll do
- Support procurement activities to ensure cost-effective sourcing and smooth operational support:
- Act as a key point of contact between local stakeholders, the UK & Ireland as well as the Business Unit Procurement teams
- Support sourcing activities for indirect spend categories, including services, maintenance, and packaging
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across supply chain, production, and maintenance teams
- Support negotiations with suppliers, with the opportunity to develop negotiation skills over time
- Create and maintain contracts and purchase agreements within internal systems
- Prepare and analyse monthly cost reports and support global reporting requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support resolution of invoice queries and collaborate with finance and suppliers
- Contribute to improving procurement processes and ensuring data accuracy
Who we’re looking for
- Approximately 1–2 years of experience in procurement or buying, ideally supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Comfortable working with data and systems, with intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage; Power BI exposure is a plus
- Key soft skills include strong communication and stakeholder management, strong attention to detail and analytical mindset, organisation, reliability, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in developing a career within procurement
