Responsibilities
- Daily quality checks and audits.
- Control of incoming raw materials/finished product samples.
- Maintain company status to all relevant industry quality accreditations (e.g. UFAS, ISO).
- Promote all aspects of Quality Control with all departments.
- Investigate problems effectively and timely, involving appropriate personnel.
- Carry out daily duties in accordance with company guidelines to ensure the health and safety of self and colleagues.
- Fortnightly plant hygiene audits.
- Write and generate ad-hoc reports and participate in inter-departmental projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or quality related background.
- Science related qualification and/or knowledge of HACCP/food safety issues.
- Strong administration and IT skills; keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills; ability to multitask and work efficiently between tasks and projects, both independently and in a team.
- Flight licence an advantage but not essential.
Work Conditions
- Flexible approach to hours (shift pattern 6.00am – 6.00pm with occasional weekend work).
