The Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with Customers on large-scale datacentre modernisation, automation or multi-cloud projects. You will produce technical designs incorporating Nutanix and related products. You will take technical leadership in the design and build of Nutanix and other virtualization products, focusing on integrating the IT landscape for the EUC use case. You are an advanced virtualization technology specialist with competencies in infrastructure or network virtualization, business-critical and cloud-native applications, data center operations, end-user computing, and/or public cloud.
About the Team
The Nutanix Professional Services team ensures successful implementations by engaging with customers during pre-sales and post-sales, assisting with their SDDC strategy and architecture. The team helps implement Nutanix products and collaborates with partners to ensure customer success in virtualized and software-defined data centers. Services include assessment, design, implementation, integration, automation, and project management.
Your Role
- Lead workshops and consulting engagements with customers.
- Conduct Nutanix consulting solutions effectively and timely.
- Own the business outcomes of virtualization & EUC projects through requirements capture and governance.
- Create detailed design documents and perform hands-on implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers on project budgets and delivery.
- Provide technical input and review projects during pre-sales.
- Estimate efforts for internal groups and advise on future service opportunities.
- Drive practice activities like developing methodologies, quality assurance, and peer reviews.
- Maintain current knowledge of Nutanix product stack.
What You Will Bring
- Strong technical architecture background with Citrix technologies, including Virtual Apps & Desktops, DaaS, and ADC.
- Desirable skills include Omnissa Horizon and related technologies.
- Experience in reviewing and creating design documents for infrastructure solutions.
- Expertise in large-scale EUC transformations and migrations.
- Knowledge in user roles, data policies, and VDI architecture impacts.
- Certifications such as Citrix CCP-V and CCP-N or higher.
- Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/DaaS, and Omnissa Horizon (advantage).
- Knowledge in High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Microsoft Certified roles, and scripting.
- Familiarity with EUC monitoring tools and alternative solutions (advantage).
Work Arrangement
This position is primarily remote. Occasional in-office visits or travel may be required based on business needs.
