About the Team
At Nutanix, you will become part of the Space Planning and Design team, a close-knit group of five dedicated professionals. Our team thrives on collaboration, fostering an environment where diverse ideas can come together to create innovative space solutions. The synergy among team members is key to our success as we navigate the challenges of optimizing and designing spaces that enhance productivity and well-being.
You will report to the Global Director of Space Planning and Design, who is committed to nurturing talent and driving collaborative projects. The work setup is hybrid, requiring you to come into our London and other EMEA offices as needed, allowing for flexibility while maintaining strong team connections. While you will enjoy the benefits of remote work, please note that there are travel requirements for the role, which will involve approximately 20% - 40% travel to meet and collaborate with teams and stakeholders across various locations around EMEA.
Your Role
- Analyse and optimize office space utilization to align with departmental needs and company objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative space planning strategies that enhance employee experience and productivity.
- Coordinate and oversee office moves, renovations, and expansions, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and designers, to create functional and aesthetically pleasing workspace designs.
- Manage the maintenance of accurate floor plans and occupancy information through the CAFM system.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities related to space utilization and recommend best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Facilitate effective communication with internal teams and external vendors to address space planning needs and concerns.
- Establish measurable objectives within the first year to enhance space planning processes and improve the overall workplace environment.
What You Will Bring
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate space planning, interior design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and Space Planning software, with strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture, and space planning concepts.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in project management, including coordinating office moves and renovations.
- Strong customer service orientation and adaptability to changing environments.
- Education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline is required.
