Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join their logistics team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the transportation operations, ensuring that goods are shipped and received efficiently. Duties
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of shipping and receiving operations.
- Taking calls and placing orders on system
- Dealing with driver issues & assist with daily work logs
- Utilise transportation management systems to track shipments and monitor delivery schedules.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records and compliance data
- Conduct regular assessments of business processes to identify areas for improvement.
Skills
- Proficient in shipping and receiving processes with a strong understanding of logistics principles.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Microsoft 365 and preferably Waste Logics
