Nustaff Recruitment has been instructed by a growing business who seek a customer focused Operations Manager. This industry specialist is looking for an Operations Manager Electronics, to join their predominantly mechanically biased team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a company who wishes to push further growth and who has identified a gap in their services, and as such, is looking to bring all forms of PCB re-work and overhaul in-house. The company has the backing of an independent investment office based in London and the Operations Manager role will be paramount in this upwards trajectory. As the Operations Manager you will enjoy: A salary up to £50k depending on experience 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays Ad-hoc team nights out Free on-site parking Friendly and flexible team Christmas shut down The main duties of the Operations Manager will be: anaging day-to-day operations including planning, scheduling and supervising the work of technical staff to ensure their KPI’s are met for time, efficiency and with the highest quality possible eveloping and implementing SOP’s for managing operations or projects to ensure customer needs are met Ensuring the company’s processes remain legally compliant Purchasing and negotiating costings for materials Planning inventory and overseeing warehouse efficiency Owning the Health and Safety process Capacity planning and resource management Quality control checking Identifying opportunities for growth As the Operations Manager, you will need: Excellent communication skills A track record as a project manager or operations within an engineering environment Leadership/managerial experience Outstanding organisational skills Loads of initiative and “out of the box” thinking with the view to implementing new systems, setting KPIs for the team, working smarter/more efficiently Experience with ERP Business planning An electrical, electronic or engineering background
