NuStaff is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Contribution Co-Ordinator to lead the countywide rollout of a successful community initiative. This externally funded, two-year role offers the chance to make a real, visible impact — coordinating projects that bring communities together and revitalise green open spaces across Cheshire.
The Role
You'll scale up the pilot 'Cheshire Contribution' projects, which invite people seeking asylum to visibly contribute to the communities they are temporarily part of, while giving those communities the chance to see that contribution first-hand. Based primarily at Runcorn Town Hall, with time spent at outside locations delivering events, you'll act as the driving force behind planning, partnerships, and on-the-ground delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the Cheshire Contribution programme end-to-end, including on-site management of events
- Creating an operational guide covering checklists, safety protocols, risk assessments, and inductions
- Planning and delivering events, including developing marketing materials to attract volunteers and stakeholders
- Recruiting volunteers and local residents, and identifying trusted local hosts to support activity
- Building relationships with local authorities, public bodies, and other partners to co-create high-impact projects
- Acting as the single point of contact for the programme, advising participants and partner agencies
- Working with the Comms team to promote the programme and raise awareness among stakeholders
- Producing reports on programme effectiveness, including case studies and key metrics
- Supporting the development of a wider Cheshire Contribution policy

- Educated to Level 4 or equivalent relevant experience
- Significant experience coordinating events and activities
- Experience working with volunteers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
