Nustaff are currently recruiting an experienced Data Architect on behalf of Lincolnshire Police. This is a key leadership role, taking ownership of the Force's overall data architecture and driving how data is used to generate intelligence, support investigations, and inform decision-making across the organisation.

You'll manage a team of seven (Data Engineers, BI Developers, Dashboard Designers and a Digital Innovation Manager), design robust data models and integration pipelines, select the right tools and technologies, and lead on data governance, standards and security compliance. You'll also work closely with senior stakeholders to turn their vision into practical, scalable data solutions.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect / Data Engineer, with strong data architecture design and implementation skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, Hive or R
  • Experience with ETL/data integration tools and visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI, Qlik)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS) and big data technologies
  • Strong knowledge of data security, privacy and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

Desirable: public sector experience, team leadership, project management, or relevant certification.

  • Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30
  • Contract up until 31/03/2027
