Opportunity

The Special Works Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering specialist cleaning projects that fall outside of our routine contract cleaning. This includes carpet and window cleaning and is a hands-on cleaning role where you will ensure that all special works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The role requires flexibility as many of the jobs are carried out either early morning, late evening, and on weekends. You will often work across multiple sites and coordinate with the wider operations team to meet project deadlines and compliance requirements.

Key Duties

  • Conduct site surveys for periodic and reactive works, ensuring accurate scope and resourcing.
  • Ensure job timesheets and completion reports are submitted promptly after each task, and shared with Account Managers and/or clients as required.
  • Maintain the SWD vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fully stocked, and that all equipment is regularly serviced.
  • Report and arrange repairs for any faults immediately.
  • Demonstrate good IT proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills.

With experience in specialist areas of carpet and window cleaning as well as carrying out deep cleaning operations, you are confident in managing workloads and engaging effectively with clients and colleagues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every project runs smoothly, safely, and to exceptional standards.

Essential

  • 2 years’ experience in the cleaning industry
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • Have experience in carrying out carpet and window cleaning activities
  • Able to work fully flexible, which includes early morning, late evening, and weekends

Desirable

  • Experience in providing quotes to clients
