Children's residential home and are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service on a permanent basis. You will provide residential care and support for Children and Young People who are not able to continue living in their current environment for a number of different reasons. As Registered Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, working closely with the Responsible Individual and wider leadership team. You'll help shape the service, build a strong team and ensure the home provides a safe, supportive environment that meets the needs of the young people.
You'll provide leadership across safeguarding, care planning, staff management, compliance and quality assurance, while ensuring the home is prepared to meet and maintain Ofsted standards.
Build positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote independence.
Ensuring children receive high quality, individualised care and support
Managing staffing, rotas, budgets and the day to day operation of the service
The post holder will also have a sound understanding of ensuring that Health and Safety Regulations are followed at all times.
Ensure the home's ethos is embedded in the shifts and that children are involved in the day-to-day running of the service.
Take responsibility for overseeing safeguarding children and supporting the team to reduce the risks.
Ensure care planning, key working, safeguarding, incidents, health, education and activities recording is completed in the required timeframe and to the required standard.
Ensure that Care Reviews Reports are prepared in advance and that Children are prepared and supported during the review process.
You will be responsible for the administration of related financial management, ensuring that budgets are maintained and that any overspends are identified as soon as possible.
