Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring the highest level of care, education and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue, monitoring budgets.
- Develop best practice, supervise and train the team, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor the nursery's estates and aesthetics.
- Support marketing and promotion to attract new customers; build the nursery's brand and reputation.
- Attend monthly meetings and contribute to community partnerships and environmental initiatives.
- Foster creative programmes for children, including stay‑and‑play, intergenerational care, woodwork, forest school, mini‑master chefs, music, dance, language and sports.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year in early years leadership.
- Knowledge of Early Years Legislation and Ofsted requirements.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software, especially Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Level 3 in Childcare & Development (as per the UK qualifications checklist).
- English GCSE or equivalent; maths GCSE desirable.
- Driver's licence desirable.
