We are looking for an energetic and caring Sports Coach to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will plan and deliver fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate physical activities for children, supporting their physical development, coordination, and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver a varied programme of physical activities, games, and movement sessions suitable for children in the nursery.
- Create safe, stimulating environments for active play both indoors and outdoors.
- Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and confidence through inclusive coaching techniques.
- Observe and assess children's physical development, sharing observations with room leaders and parents where appropriate.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to integrate physical activity into the daily routine and support overall learning goals.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained; report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene policies at all times.

- Desirable: Coaching qualification (e.g., Level 1/2 in a sports coaching discipline), Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures or willingness to attend required training.
