This can only be achieved by having incredible staff members who deliver these activities. We are looking for an experienced ROOM LEADER to help lead these amazing practitioners and apprentices and help them become the leaders of tomorrow.

Toddler Room Leader – Chell

Pay: Β£28,300 – Β£29,300

This role is the perfect stepping stone into a senior leadership position within our Chell nursery. You will still be able to enjoy all the fun and adventure on a daily basis, with the added knowledge you are helping shape our future room leaders too.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Supervising and leading a team of practitioners and apprentices in your room.
  • Identifying any knowledge gaps in your team and working with the nursery manager to fill these gaps through ongoing training.
  • Ensuring all reporting is up to date and filed and reported accordingly.
  • Participating and sometimes leading staff training, meetings, workshops and open days.
  • Ensuring your key children are encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding policies are adhered to at all times and any breaches are reported to the designated safeguarding lead immediately.

To be eligible you must hold a level 3 Early Years qualification and have at least 1 year of experience working in a day nursery with under 2s. A full job description can be given upon request. You will need to complete an enhanced DBS certificate and receive 2 satisfactory reference requests upon an offer of employment being made.
