Premium Fashion & Apparel Brand | Hybrid, London (1–2 days a week in office)
The opportunity
Our client is a premium apparel brand with a growing ecommerce business. They are looking for a Website Optimisation Manager to lead the continuous improvement of their website.
You will own the optimisation roadmap and the development backlog, and run the A/B testing and experimentation programme.
You will use data, customer insight and close collaboration with development partners to prioritise the changes that deliver measurable commercial value. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you will combine commercial awareness with UX best practice, so that every improvement reflects the brand and supports continued growth.
What you'll do
- Act as the Owner for the website. You will balance BAU, bug fixes, technical improvements and optimisation work, and focus development resource on the highest-value opportunities.
- Own the A/B testing and personalisation agenda. You will identify opportunities, prioritise experiments, build and launch simple tests yourself, and report on outcomes.
- Use analytics, heatmaps, session replay and usability tools to find customer pain points and turn them into development priorities.
- Own delivery against Conversion Rate, Average Order Value, Site Speed and other agreed digital KPIs.
- Shape solutions through research, wireframes, user journeys, user stories and prototypes.
- Optimise and enrich site content to improve engagement, conversion and commercial performance.
- Work with the development and project teams, and with Ecommerce, Brand, Marketing, Trading, Customer Service and IT colleagues, to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Make strategic recommendations on functionality, customer journeys and new digital capabilities.
- Champion UX and CRO best practice while keeping everything consistent with the brand guidelines.
About you
- You have 3+ years' experience in digital optimisation, ecommerce, product management, UX, CRO or a similar role.
- You have managed digital development backlogs, working with in-house teams or external agencies.
- You have planned, run and analysed A/B testing programmes.
- You understand UX best practice, responsive design and customer-centred design.
- You can spot opportunities in analytics and behavioural data, and you're comfortable with heat mapping, session replay and usability tools.
- You can create wireframes, user journeys and low-fidelity prototypes.
- You are commercially minded and can balance customer needs, technical complexity and business priorities.
- You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and manage stakeholders well across multiple teams.
- You are proactive and confident enough to challenge and improve the way things are done.
- Experience with experimentation or personalisation platforms such as Statsig, Optimizely, VWO or Monetate.
