We are recruiting Trainee Recruitment Consultants on behalf of our clients. This is an opportunity with established recruitment businesses that continue to grow and invest in structured training to develop new consultants properly. The role is based in Manchester City Centre and is suitable for candidates who can commute from areas such as Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Altrincham, Sale, Didsbury, Chorlton, Prestwich, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan, Warrington and Macclesfield.

The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be trained to run a contract recruitment desk within the white-collar food manufacturing and FMCG sector. You will learn how to:
- Source and engage candidates
- Map markets and identify talent
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Manage live contract vacancies
- Negotiate rates and placements
- Work to targets and KPIs
You will receive structured training and ongoing support designed to help you build confidence quickly and develop practical recruitment skills.
The Industry
You will recruit professional and technical white-collar roles within food manufacturing and FMCG businesses operating in high-volume production environments. Roles typically include:
- Technical Managers
- Maintenance Engineers
- Health and Safety professionals
- Supply Chain specialists
Salary and Commission
£26,000 to £28,000 base salary. Uncapped commission structure.
