We are currently launching a new children’s residential home and are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and into operation. This is an opportunity to build and shape a home from the ground up. You will play a key role in developing a high-quality service supporting children with complex needs including autism, learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural needs. We are focused on creating a stable, well‑run home that delivers real outcomes for children, and we are looking for someone who shares that vision.

The Role

  • Leading the Ofsted registration process
  • Developing and reviewing the Statement of Purpose and policies
  • Attending Ofsted interviews and demonstrating suitability
  • Setting up staffing structure, rotas and systems
  • Building and leading a strong care team
  • Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Creating a safe, stable and supportive environment for children

What We Are Looking For

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a children’s residential setting
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Confident, organised and committed to high-quality care

Important Information
