If so, we want you to join our mobile team working on sites based in Oxford and the surrounding area as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader.

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our grounds maintenance operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of grounds maintenance operatives in performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and debris removal.
- Providing guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high-quality work and adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
- Planning and organizing daily work assignments, prioritising tasks, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Conducting regular inspections of grounds to identify extra maintenance works and address any client issues promptly.
- Monitoring stock levels of tools and supplies in your vehicle, working with your Contract Manager as appropriate.
- Promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and fostering a positive work environment for all team members.
- Winter gritting and snow clearance will also perform part of this role.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- A commitment to Health and safety whilst able to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing priorities.
- A passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
