Nurture Fostering is a small, family-owned Independent Fostering Agency based on Lewisham High Street. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our service on a maternity cover basis, providing strong leadership and support to a dedicated team of social workers.
Working in close partnership with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving outcomes for children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, support, and manage a team of social workers, promoting a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to deliver the agency’s vision and objectives
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service quality and outcomes
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Attend statutory meetings and empower social workers to feel confident and supported in their roles
- Quality assure annual reviews and Form F fostering assessments
