Nurture Fostering is seeking an experienced Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our well-established, family-owned Independent Fostering Agency in Lewisham. Rated Good by Ofsted, we pride ourselves on being a small, supportive service where social workers are truly valued. This is a full-time maternity cover opportunity, ideal for a confident and motivated social worker looking to take the next step in their career within a friendly and collaborative team.

Role Responsibilities
- Supervise and support three social workers
- Hold a small caseload of 3–5 foster carers
- Take a lead role in investigations and referrals (with training and support provided)
- Support and mentor Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs)
- Contribute to the ongoing development of high-quality fostering practice
About You
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience in fostering and/or Local Authority children’s social work
- A minimum of three years’ post-qualifying experience
- A full driving licence is desirable
