Nurture Fostering is a family‑owned fostering agency based in Lewisham, South East London. We are seeking an organised and methodical person to join our busy, hardworking team. The role involves responsible business support and ensuring that the administration of Nurture Fostering runs smoothly and effectively.

Daily activities include:

  • Liaising with foster carers
  • Chasing references over the phone
  • Tracking foster carers’ training completion
  • Recording health appointments and chasing medicals
  • Preparing spreadsheets for the Manager

All fostering activities require a high level of safeguarding and compliance. All applicants will be subject to strict safeguarding checks and an Enhanced DBS check. The role includes recruiting, safeguarding and compliance of foster carers, staff and support personnel.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and spreadsheet management
  • Previous experience in an organisational role, interacting with others and contributing to a team
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast‑paced environment
