Nurture Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced Primary School in Lewisham that is seeking a CACHE Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately. This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range and contributing positively to the wider school environment.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and school needs
- Working closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required
- Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive attitudes to learning
- Helping with classroom preparation, displays and daily routines
