Overview

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within our Brent based SEN School. This role is hands on, working with a year 1 student on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will be working with a student with ASD, supporting the student with their learning. You will work together with excellent teachers, school staff and the family of the student to help provide a nurturing environment for them to learn.

What You Will Need

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Current DBS certificate or the intention to apply
  • 2 quality recent references
  • Experience working with visual impairment
  • Proactive and positive attitude to strive for pupil development

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relative certification/qualification
  • University degree
  • GCSE A*-C or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children
