About The Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will join a supportive team and have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach high-quality lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal conduct
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and school leaders
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil success
- Participate in school events, initiatives, and wider curriculum opportunities
The Successful Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school
- Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
- Be committed to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have a proactive and reflective approach to professional development
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
