About The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will join a supportive team and have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach high-quality lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal conduct
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and school leaders
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil success
  • Participate in school events, initiatives, and wider curriculum opportunities

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school
  • Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • Be committed to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have a proactive and reflective approach to professional development
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
