The Role
- As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning experiences that engage and motivate pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all abilities and learning styles
- Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupil achievement
- Promote excellent behaviour, confidence, and independence among learners
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development
- Contribute to the wider school community through events and extracurricular activities
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective teaching practice
- Possess a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences for young children
- Have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
