Here at Nurslink we are currently recruiting experienced Band 5 registered nurses to support NHS Trust’s in Cheshire. Our recruitment consultants are dedicated to working with you and your availability, so if you have additional spare time or looking to increase your income, we have full flexibility work opportunities available across Weekdays, Weekends, Days and Nights. We work around you.
Location: Cheshire Area.
Requirements
Essential:
- Band 5 or above.
- Registered nurse with a current NMC pin
- Relevant Nursing qualifications
- Hardworking RGN/ RGN
- 6 months recent experience RGN
- 2 clinical references that cover 3 years work experience
- Valid DBS certificate

Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Plan, implement and evaluate care
- Assist patients with their activities of daily living
- Regular assessment and monitoring of patient’s vital signs
- Perform different types of observations and use different monitoring systems
- Use and ensure the working function of varied medical equipment such as ventilators, infusions pumps, feeding pumps, monitors
- Administer medication
- Care for patients receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Prioritise care
- Recognise patient deterioration and timely escalation of care
- Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients and relatives
- Work as part of a team
- Make appropriate referrals
- Keep accurate and timely patient records
- Work under pressure
- Problem solving
- Follow local policies and procedures
- Prepare patient for discharge or transfer to other departments
