Housing Case Worker (Floating Support) – Leeds | Immediate Start

Overview

We’re hiring a Floating Housing Case Worker in Leeds to support vulnerable people at risk of homelessness, eviction, or tenancy issues.

This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference, helping people live independently, stay connected to their communities, and sustain their homes.

£14–£16 per hour (weekly pay) | Mon–Fri, 37.5 hrs | Start ASAP | Minimum 3 months

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Floating Housing Case Worker, you’ll be supporting up to 20 clients with housing-related needs:

• Delivering person-centred, practical support in people’s homes and communities.
• Helping clients resettle into accommodation and sustain tenancies.
• Supporting people with complex needs such as mental health challenges, substance use, or domestic abuse.
• Promoting independence, wellbeing, and community connection.
• Liaising with local agencies and partners to secure the best outcomes.
• Keeping clear and accurate records using IT systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in housing support, floating support, or tenancy sustainment.
• Good understanding of the housing system and support services in Leeds.
• Confident working independently, managing time, and problem-solving.
• Compassionate, resilient, and skilled at building trust with people.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with multiple barriers to stability.
• Strong IT and admin skills.

Bonus if you drive: Most support will be delivered face-to-face across Leeds. A driving licence and access to a car are preferred, but not essential if you know the area well.
