Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Care Worker. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our service user with complex health needs in their own homes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance, with the flexibility of working hours to suit you.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and support in accordance with individual care plans
- Assist with behaviour management techniques
- Aid in meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Provide person centred care with empathy, compassion, dignity and respect, always promoting independence and choice
Experience
- Prior experience in patient care preferred
- Proficiency in behaviour management techniques
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols preferred
- Home care: 1 year (required)
